T-Pain has responded to some fans’ questions about why he flies commercial as opposed to private — and he did so in a very dramatic way.
On Tuesday (March 4), the “Buy U a Drank” singer shared a video to his Instagram in which, on board an airplane, he broke down the cost of a private jet. He titled the video: “You wanna know how much a private jet costs?”

Teddy Pain held up an app on his phone that appeared to show the cost of chartering a private Gulfstream jet for a flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas and back: $126, 574.
It was an extreme case, he pointed out, of “spending all this money to go make money.”

“Why would you do that? In what world is that smart?” he asked. “[If I did that], y’all would be like, he going broke again.”
He captioned the video: “If it don’t make dollars it don’t make sense!!! Pass me the Biscoff cookies.”

The clip got approving reactions from Timbaland, producer Jess Jackson, Big Sean (“Facts,” he commented), and even Delta Airlines.

Last month, T-Pain shared his unfiltered thoughts on something else: the new album from Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR.
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U arrived on February 14, and Pain hit his stream later that weekend to talk to his followers about it.
“So here’s my thing, I feel like [Drake] recorded a bunch of shit [and] in order to keep PARTY around, [he said], ‘You can take 10, 15 of these songs, put a verse on them and that’s our album,’” Pain said. “[He was probably like], ‘Bro, the songs are already recorded. These are all the songs that didn’t make my previous albums. Go for it, bro. Put verses on these songs.’
“Yeah, there’s five to seven solo Drake songs…that didn’t make other albums. I’m not saying that they’re bad. These are just songs that didn’t make albums. Or the other way around.
