T.I. Talks Style, Eminem, and Alfamega

This month, T.I. shares a Complex cover with Grand Hustle artist B.o.B. While the magazine has already printed the different covers as well as both interviews, much of T.I.’s interview was posted onto the Complex.com website. In the outtakes, T.I. talks about his clothing inspirations, a potential collaboration with Eminem, and his feelings on former Grand Hustle artist Alfamega.

When asked who he admires in the fashion department, he answered, “[Diddy] and [Jay-Z]. Puff has an all-around style; upscale, urban, and classic. I can say that for both. They just have a different way of doing it. I am very selective with my clothes. This is a time where fashion and style go against what I would rather do myself…I’m not going to do red jeans. No green jeans. I don’t do Vans and that’s the style right now. I don’t want to show my socks when I’m wearing jeans.”

He also said that, although he and Eminem first worked on T.I vs T.I.P., they have not worked together since. “We did two or three records during that time. We haven’t worked on any more since, but we definitely have plans to do so.”

He even touched on the situation with Alfamega, a former artist on Grand Hustle who experienced a fall out with T.I. and was exposed as having worked with the police. He said that he hadn’t spoken to the rapper since going to jail. “The people who introduced him to me, they didn’t know [about his past]. I ain’t trippin’ off that. On some real shit, I don’t think about it. I’m not angry. I’m not upset. I don’t have any hard feelings.”

    1. Touchdown was pure garbage, but T.I. vs T.I.P. was his worst album and Em was still going through his drug phase. A collab between T.I. on his Paper Trail shit and Em on his Recovery shit? Sounds golden.
