T.I. Speaks On The Possibility Of A Joint Album With Fellow Rapper Young Jeezy

Following T.I.’s appearance on MTV’s Rap Fix Live yesterday (May 16) it now looks like an album between himself and Young Jeezy is becoming more of a reality. While appearing on the live show T.I. spoke a little more in-depth on the possibility of a joint project and revealed that it would take “no time to put it together.”
And according to T.I. the records are there it’s just a matter of when the project would be released.
“Me and Jeezy been talkin’ about doin’ this project for a minute,” T.I. explained while on Rap Fix Live. “It wouldn’t take us long to do. We got records already in the can and it don’t take us no time to put it together. It’s just a matter of when they would be released.”
The rapper also revealed that the duo already has several records recorded if they were to release a joint project.
“It’s not the recording, the recording is easy. It’s a matter of when we would have time to market and promote ’em and release ’em,” said T.I. “We got maybe 30 or 40 [percent done]. Between the two of us, we probably got five or six records.”
T.I. will be releasing his eight solo album titled Trouble Man on September 4.

    1. That album will be dope whenever it comes out, cause jeezy and tip always bring out the best in each other. Can’t wait.

    2. This album will suck whenever it comes, cause jeezy is washed up and tip lost momentum when he was getting raped in prison. Can wait.

    3. And before you diss, you should know that ever since Watch the Throne, there has been so much talk of duo albums. That said, will most of those planned duo albums even happen?

      1. Actually it hasn’t been since WTT. Rappers been plotting duo albums forever, they just can’t get around to it due to scheduling and marketing conflicts. I remember in 06/07 there were like half a dozen duo albums in talks, some which include Rick Ross/birdman(ew), T.I./Nelly, Jim Jones/Cam’ron, and Wayne/Juelz’s I Can’t Feel My Face which been in talks since 06.

But speaking technically yeah, since WTT and Hell: the Sequel dropped rappers are more open to dual projects than ever seeing the success those two albums gathered

      2. No it isn’t that. It’s just that once two artist that has alot of power in the industry does a project like that and it turns out succesful, it gets easier for the rest of them to do their project.

It’s like releasing movies. How many superhero movies have you seen pop up ever since Batman Begins/Dark Knight? It’s just like that.

However the talks about duo albums have always been out there. Shit remember Helter Skelter with Dre and Ice Cube that was supposed to drop in 1994? How about I Can’t Feel My Face? How about the talks about T-Pain and Wayne doing a collabo album? And the list goes on.

    4. I’ve been rocking with T.I. since the Hot Boys & No Limit Days came to an end,and to now hear him talk retirement leaves me again looking for my next favorite rapper ut if he & Jeezy put this album together it would be the Rawest thing I heard since TRAP MUZIC (know i’m serious came first). I really hope they get together on this & do it in the spirit of Trap Muzic & Thug Motivation 101 (two of my all time albums worldwide or southern) that would really blow the doors off the rapm game.I can actually hear the album now & it hasn’t been made!!! KING OF THE SOUTH & THA SNOWMAN
