T.I. Reacts To “No Mercy” First-Week Sales

Despite being locked behind bars for violating his parole, T.I. posted impressive first-week sales for his latest project, No Mercy, which debuted at #4 with around 160,000 sold.

T.I. thanked his fans accordingly, making a post on his website, trapmuzik.com. “What up world? First off I’d like to thank everybody again for going out and supporting the ‘Hustle’ yet again with No Mercy last week. I can’t say enough on how much I appreciate the support and all the positive feedback. I read so many tweets, letters, reviews and comments that spoke volumes to how much love was still out there and how much respect still exists for my art and my passion.”

Added Tip, “I put so much of myself into what I do. I even read over the negative comments cuz’ that’s the kind of energy I feed off of to adjust, evolve and improve my craft until it manifests into the closest thing to perfection on the next go-round. I love hearing your opinions on what songs you like most for the next singles. We are taking all of them into consideration as we decide right now on which direction to head in.”

T.I. added that he would turn this experience into a positive one, writing, “I know this seems like an unfortunate set of circumstances to endure for a career with so much potential but remember adversity builds character and character takes you places money can’t. I know what’s in store for me in the future so I ain’t trippin’ and neither should you. For now all my love and best wishes to you and yours for the holidays. Y’all hold it down out there and I’ll do the same in here. And continue to spread the word about “No Mercy” & Team T.I..

Take it light and Be Eazy,

    Love – King.”

    1. Feel comfortable with the possibility of starting a big tall relationship in a community where people think just like you. Recapture some of your lovers and try striking up a relationship, whether romantic or just friendship, with a big tall someone! ___BigTalls.com__ is your cupid!

      1. TI VS TIP was not bad at all. Idk why everybody is trippin over that. and it went platnium. everyone of TIPs albums have sold really well. even tho this is his lowest sellin album there wasnt much promotion at all and it turned out to be a decent album with pretty good sells overall. when he gets out King Uncaged is gone be crazy though

      2. T.I. vs. T.I.P. was a hot ass album. Some of the beats on that album were insane and it was cohesive. I still think T.I.’s best album is Urban Legend tho but Paper Trail was close. T.I. still aint release his Magnum Opus yet and King Uncaged might be that next year.

    3. From the Feds 160k is good!!!!

T.I. sales aren’t bad when you consider the fact he has been promoting from “Federal Prison” for basically the past two years.

This album isn’t “King Uncaged”…. He pushed that album back and threw this together at the last minute before he went to jail.

Where is his first single: T.I. “I’m Back” ???????

He has another incarceration release coming too and its not “King Uncaged” either.

    4. for him to have no big singles off this album and no promotion his sales were amzing when he gets out of jail and releases a actual concentrated album it will do big sales like always

    5. T.I. is fortunate for his supporters – this is for sure. Hopefully, he will mature and get his head straight by the time he’s released. These are nice numbers considering the absence of promo and physical presence. At some point this dude really needs to appreciate his life.

    6. smh…. 160,000 is nothing, especially for someone who goes by the name of “king”…… I luved the album but why such low numbers, he should be raking in at least 500,000 for the work of that album…. keep it up TI, I’ll be vibin no mercy till you get out. But dont let it happen again- once is okay, 2 is pushin it, nd 3 i just give up. So STAY CLEAN MY NIG

    7. 160K is ok…not good..Problem is Low promotion and the fact that Hip Hop is Dead!! Everybody wants to listen to that soulja bitch and other wack artists but dont listen to real hip hop…HIP HOP IS DEAD!!

    8. No Mercy kinda came out of nowhere with no hype. I guarantee if they would of kept the title King Uncaged it would of sold way more just off anticipation. But he’s not Uncaged so they couldn’t. Even tho it’s almost the same album people are weird.

    9. i mean no mercy is good and all, but honestly i hope the next direction t.i. takes when he gets out is to start making grand hustle music.. this album is not that.. its just t.i. rapping over mainstream beats really.. songs like whether you like it or not and no competition off of his recent mixtape should be offered up to his next album .. i really want the full version of that song too
