T.I. Joins The Cast Of Starz TV Show “Boss”

T.I. is expanding his acting resume with the announcement of his joining Starz’s political drama Boss.

According to VIBE.com, Tip will join the cast for the show’s second season. Based on the first season, star Kelsey Grammer garnered a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama for playing Tom Kane, a Chicago mayor who is diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder.

In the show, the self-proclaimed “King of the South” will play a “former gangbanger with designs on a career in City Hall. He is the cousin that Darius (played by singer-songwriter Rotimi) turns to when struggling with his love for Emma (Hannah Ware), Mayor Tom Kane’s daughter, and he is the conduit between a local Alderman and the gang that is powerful enough to function as a grassroots organization in the projects.”

    1. Damn HHDX y’all are late as hell. The boss is already on it’s third episode for this season…SMH. It’s a great show though.

    2. T.I. is the worst actor ever. He makes Curtis Jackson look accomplished. Hollywood, stop casting rappers. They can’t act for shit, and only make you look desperate to attract the urban audience.

      1. Stoppppp HATING bitch.!
He makes more money with them 2 minutes on boss then you make in a whole decade.!!!!
Why are people always hating man.!!!
        GET A FUCKIN JOB.!

      2. Your kidding me right….What about Ice Cube, Ice-T Luda, Nas, DMX, 3-6 Mafia, Will Smith, Queen Latifah, Mos Def, Mark Wahlberg, LL Cool J, Common, Tyrese… mannn I swear if people got paid for hating there would be no recession.

    3. Love Kelsey Grammar and politics, but I can’t feel this show. I want so bad to be addicted to it, but things just don’t add up somehow. Hope it won’t be the same with second season.
