SZA has shared a series of new teasers for her new project Lana following the one-year anniversary of SOS.

The TDE singer took to Instagram on Sunday (December 10) to post six potential album covers for the forthcoming release, which serves as the deluxe edition of SOS.

The singer can be seen wearing a No. 15 football jersey is several covers, which are all captioned “LANA,” with some taking it as a hint that the batch of bonus material could arrive this Friday (December 15).

SZA announced a deluxe version of SOS in February, revealing it would include 10 new songs and was “coming soon.”

“After I do the deluxe, I’m hoping to be able to accept that this chapter is done,” she told Billboard. “I’m looking forward to actually feeling proud of myself and not just smiling and nodding at accolades but really feeling it internally and knowing that I’m good enough.”

She added: “I guess I need to stop trying to figure out what it means and start realizing and living in what it is.”

During a performance in Brooklyn, New York City in September, SZA reassured fans that Lana — which derives its title from her birth name, Solána — was still on the way and would be released in the fall.

“The deluxe is a whole ’nother album,” she said onstage. “It’s called Lana. It’s seven to 10 songs and it’ll be out this fall.”

In addition to teasing Lana, SZA also posted a lengthy message celebrating 365 days since the release of her blockbuster sophomore LP SOS, which she called “life-changing.”

“A day late but Happy 1 year anniversary to an album that is ACTIVELY CHANGING MY LIFE .. like rn currently changing my life,” she wrote.

“I haven’t processed this year AT ALL cause it’s still happening .. this is beyond my wildest dreams. I never imagined we’d accomplish a fraction of the accolades that came from this .. it often doesn’t feel real and it’s funny cause I swore I’d know what to do if it ever happened. turns out I froze.”

She added: “I know the perils of drinking the koolaid so I won’t dabble in that .. but I have to express the immense GRATITUDE I have for every person that made this possible. Every person that’s been apart of this journey. Thank you to GOD and to my incredible TEAM and My FAMILY. My ancestors.

SOS, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 following its release last December and has since been certified triple platinum, is up for two awards at the 2024 Grammys, including the coveted Album of the Year.
