SZA is giving fans a peek into life on the road with her as she tours the country with Kendrick Lamar on their Grand National Tour.
In two vlogs from their stops in Minneapolis (the opening show) and in Houston, the New Jersey singer shared tons of backstage moments from group prayer to even going to the bathroom in a bucket when she had only a few seconds to get back to the stage.
“I’m so GRATEFUL FOR MY LIFE! Ps im finna start vlogging cause y not,” she wrote with the first clip, which you can watch here.
In the second one from Texas (which you can watch here), she promised that a vlog from ATL is up next.

The clips also included moments from SZA’s beauty brand pop-ups at each show. Last month, the singer officially entered the beauty space with her own brand named Not Beauty and revealed the gloss will only be available on the Grand National Tour for now.
The first drop is three shades of lip gloss, which the singer has been quietly teasing in recent months by wearing at all of her appearances, including the Super Bowl halftime show.
“I’m not a beauty maven, but I know lips,” she told Vogue. “I know what I like, and I’m diligent about finding the best quality ingredients. I wanted to fill a need with something that works for me and that I use daily. Following your passion and letting it lead you, and letting the story develop itself by following the throughline of risk, trust and willingness is literally what my entire life and career has been about.”
As for the name, she explains: “[It] was representative of a reminder of: Don’t try to be these other brands, don’t try to be anything. Don’t just make a random celebrity brand just because you can. My whole life is about being pressure-free but still trying your best, and that’s what Not is about.”
