Swizz Beatz Announces New EP Featuring Nas, Lil Wayne, Benny The Butcher & More

Swizz Beatz has announced a new EP will arrive later this month, and it’s toting some heavy names including Nas, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher and more.

Taking to Instagram to reveal the project’s title, artwork and tracklisting, Swizzy announced the five-track HH50 Vol. 2 will arrive on April 21. All tracks are produced by Swizz himself, and a portion of proceeds will go toward the Universal Hip Hop Museum.

Other names appearing include A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Lil Durk, Fivio Foreign, Bandmanrill and Scar Lip.

Check out Swizz Beatz’s HH50 Vol. 2 EP track listing below:

    1. “Runway” (Feat. Nas)
    2. “This Shit Right Here” (Feat. Lil Wayne)
    3. “Take Em Out” (Feat. Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher & Scar Lip)
    4. “City Sound Like” (Feat. Fivio Foreign & Bandmanrill)
    5. “Say Less” (Feat. Lil Durk & A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie)

This makes for the second collab between Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz this year alone, as the pair connected back in February for the former’s Tha Carter VI single, “Kan’t Nobody.” The late DMX is also featured on the song, with his 1998 classic “N-ggaz Done Started Somethin” being sampled on the beat.

Swizzy and Weezy likely won’t be connecting on the Verzuz stage this year, however, as Swizz recently shot down the idea of a matchup between Wayne and fellow Hip Hop heavyweight 50 Cent.

After Apple Music host Lowkey shared his thoughts on a hypothetical Verzuz battle between Weezy and the G-Unit mogul last month, the topic went viral on social media.

Talking to Baller Alert that same week, Swizz explained why he wouldn’t entertain the idea of a duel of sorts.

“Me personally, I wouldn’t even do 50 vs. Wayne – they two different dynamics and two different artists,” he told the outlet.

“I would do a different Verzuz for both of them, but we’ll see as we have a lot of things lined up for Verzuz, and hopefully, they are involved. While I can’t give up who I would choose to go against them, just wait and see.”

As for when fans can expect the Verzuz series to return, Swizzy said “ASAP,” adding that the under-construction sign will soon be “taken off the glass.”

    1. When wayne dropped Kant Nobody, I thought man, am I tripping or Swizz using the same drumline or a variation of it every damn time? So I went and listened to the last collab in my library off Poison, Pistol on my side by Wayne. What do you know the same damn drumline. I was like man must change it up it can’t possibly stay the same on this whole album knowing my dumb ass did pay $9.99 long go. Well I went through every damn track and it was the same drumline or a variation of it and the only song that was different didn’t even have one (Echo Featuring Nas).

Dear Swizz, I’m ok I’m alright, get some ghost producers or don’t come out.

      1. Swizz been comfortably lazy with his production; since the last six years. I can chalk it up to him being married to one of not the biggest singers in music, Alicia Keys. Him having his Harvard Business Degree and reaching billionaire status; with his side investments. Honestly, I like the Ryde Or Die Swizz Beatz. Than what he’s currently putting out. He needs to get back with Cassidy’s old producer, Neo Da Matrix too

    2. I would listen to a the Lox and Swizz album. Might be an extended play. I kno everyone hates we are the streets, but not me. I love listening to it while driving

      1. Early Ryde or Die Swizz had fire tracks when he was coming up in the game

      2. Everyone hates We are the Streets?! That’s a first! I just hated the single, Wild Out, but that album was HARD.

    3. That project he did POISON was pretty good and I normally don’t check for Swizz, but he actually showed some growth as a producer on that.
