Sukihana has spoken candidly about her highly-publicized encounter with YK Osiris last month, stating that she didn’t want to bring more attention to the unwarranted gesture when it actually took place.

In a recent interview on The Armon Wiggins Show, The Love & Hip Hop: Miami star broke down what actually happened between the two musicians and why things escalated so quickly.

Sukihana started by explaining that she was in the middle of being filmed while hosting a basketball game, and YK Osiris came over to speak to her. From there, they were talking, and he began to rub her shoulders. After that, she elaborated on what took place when he kissed her.

“He reached in for a kiss,” she began. “And it was like, he don’t really know who I am. Like, he don’t know how I do. So I don’t feel like he maybe read the room as good and that’s okay. People make mistakes. He tried to kiss me, you know, and it was a little bit uncomfortable.”

She continued: “Me, personally, everybody is different from me. I have my own heart and it was just like his lips kissed my side of my lips a little too much and I was like, ‘Oh.’ It was on the side and I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, this is a lot.’ I’m a good girl but I am hood though and beat n-ggas asses.

“It was a little uncomfortable, but it was a playful setting, and I didn’t want to embarrass him or embarrass myself, or embarrass nobody at that table while we were filming, so I kept it professional at that time, but people don’t know that I actually had to get up and leave because I felt uncomfortable. I left the set and didn’t continue filming.”

Sukihana continued by explaining that she was emotional over the entire ordeal. She mentioned that YK Osiris tried to come to her room to apologize after it happened, but she didn’t want to speak to anybody. Sukihana then said that the incident happened days before it hit social media.

“Personally, I just wanted to sweep it under the rug,” the “Born By The River” artist said.

YK Osiris was seen forcing a kiss with the 31-year-old rapper last month. Sukihana looked visibly shocked and uncomfortable as the “Worth It” singer, who was stood behind her, clasped her head and forced his tongue down her throat as she commentated on the game alongside Lil Duval, Funny Marco and Buster Scher.

Osiris’ behavior was widely condemned on social media at the time and led to allegations of sexual assault. While she didn’t address the incident directly at the time, Sukihana previously posted multiple tweets revealing she was “hurt” and “crying all day,” before deactivating her Twitter account temporarily.

“I am hurt and scared to stand up for myself,” she wrote at the time. “I drink to hide that I’m very sensitive. I feel things more then [sic] the average person. I stopped drinking yesterday but today I’ve been crying all day. I asked God to strengthen me and use me to help others and to order my steps in his word. I just want to go away for awhile.”

Following the backlash, YK Osiris took to Instagram to apologize to the rapper/reality TV star, but her mother Lori Lee called YK Osiris out for his “fake ass apology” and let him know there’d be smoke if they ever run into each other in person.

Sukihana ended up forgiving YK Osiris for his actions shortly afterwards.
