Stop The Press: Kanye West’s “IDK (Demo)” Was A Hoax

Kanye West appeared to upload a new track to Apple Music on Monday (October 29). Aptly titled “IDK (Demo),” the song wasn’t tied to any particular project and there was no indication it had anything to do with ‘Ye’s upcoming Yandhi project.

It turns out it was nothing but a hoax, which isn’t entirely surprising — the vocals on the track sound nothing like Kanye.

According to Spin, sources close to Kanye said it will be removed from ‘Ye’s Apple Music page.

The sleuths on Kanye’s message board, Kanye To The, discovered the song’s lyrics appear on Genius as a song called “Idk (iphOnesOng)” by a Detroit-based producer named BigOmuziq.

It’s possible BigOmuziq was crafty enough to sneak it on both Kanye’s website and Apple Music page, although nothing has been confirmed.

HipHopDX reached out to Apple Music for comment. Stay tuned for updates.

      1. Why? Because he isn’t a follower and doesn’t believe everything he hears from the leftist mainstream media?

        1. These same idiots believe EVERYTHING they hear from right wing media…AND politics consume their ENTIRE life.
