Snoop Dogg has surprisingly thrown his hat in the ring to become the new host of Masterchef in the UK.
The previous host, Gregg Wallace, was forced to step back from the long-running show last week after multiple claims of sexual harassment while on set.
This has led to speculation over who could take over the role with Snoop unexpectedly putting himself forward as a candidate.
In an interview with the Mirror, the rap legend said: “You better believe Snoop could be the new MasterChef judge.”

I hosted a cooking show over here and I have always been vocal about wanting to work on a UK show. I love the place – and for real, this could be the perfect opportunity.”
The BBC are yet to comment on Snoop Dogg saying he wants to host Masterchef.
Snoop previously co-hosted a cooking show with Martha Stewart called Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party which ran for three seasons on VH1 and featured guests such as 50 Cent, Rick Ross and Ice Cube.
