Snoop Dogg Rides Out for the West

He’s always had a large part of the West Coast on his back.
With a new album on the way, Snoop Dogg is still repping for
    the W.

Still prepping The Blue Carpet Treatment, The
    Doggfather
found time to leak out a track sending West Coast artists
    some love and unity.

With the West in mind, My Peoples is a shout-out to
some of West Coast’s brightest emcees from the past, present and future, giving
props to vets like E-40 and underground kings Murs,
    2Mex, The Visionaries
    and more.

“A lot of dope rappers coming out the I.E.,
but they ain’t gettin’ heard. They gettin’ kicked to the curb. We even got
    Hip-Hop rappers like the homeboy
    Murs,”
he rhymes before shouting out DJ Quik, Game, Roscoe,
Bishop Lamont, Pyscho Realm, The Strong Arm Steady
    and Omar
    Cruz
    among others.

He also recently extended his hand to anyone who wants
to release any West Coast material as he has been appointed head of Koch West.
Artists like B. Real, Xzibit and others have already signed
    up.

The Blue Carpet Treatment will be released October
17 and will feature production from Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Rick
    Rock
    and more.
