Snoop Dogg has fired back at Suge Knight after he claimed that he is working to get 2Pac‘s suspected killer, Keefe D, freed on bail.
The Death Row Records co-founder alleged in an interview with The Art of Dialogue that Snoop was involved in trying to secure the gang member’s release from jail as he was “talking too much” while behind bars.
Knight also linked his former artist to the sex trafficking claims against Diddy and accused him of lying about visiting ‘Pac in the hospital shortly before his death.
It did not take Snoop long to respond to his one-time label boss as he wrote in an Instagram comment: “This n-gga [won’t] stop talking about me mad cuz I own Death Row, I realize your real lies.”

During his aforementioned chat with The Art of Dialogue, Suge (who is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence for manslaughter) said: “Since I been in here, Snoop and other people been trying to bail the guy [Keefe D] out ’cause he talking too much.”
He added: “Ray J trying to bail Puffy out of jail ’cause they say he’s talking too much… Him, Puffy, Ray J, all those dudes got Puffy ties. And apparently Keefe D telling it all. The more he talks, the more they get hurt by the situation.”
As for Snoop visiting 2Pac on his death bed, Suge said: “That definitely didn’t happen. Snoop didn’t go to the hospital. That’s a lie.”
The incarcerated mogul has previously taken issue with Snoop Dogg’s ownership of Death Row Records, accusing him of fraudulently purchasing the legendary rap label.
Speaking to TMZ from prison after the deal was announced in 2022, Suge claimed that his ex-business partner Michael “Harry-O” Harris committed bankruptcy fraud to get the company from him.
Knight then claimed that Snoop was only able to acquire the label due to it being forfeited when a lawyer failed to attend court, with a default judgement in 2013 transferring it into the possession of MNRK Music Group.
Suge said the bankruptcy proceeding was a violation of the law, and that Death Row will never truly be the same without him in charge.
“Snoop has a partner, which is Michael Harris. They committed fraud, they bankruptcy fraud. I didn’t lose my company by doing anything wrong; they went in and the lawyer didn’t show up, and they got a default judgement,” he said.
“I settled the judgement. They turned around and said I didn’t settle the judgement. But they committed bankruptcy fraud which we just found out for sure last week. When they filed for bankruptcy in ’95, they said it didn’t have anything to do with Death Row.”
“You can’t commit bankruptcy fraud and settle and do those type of things,” he added. “It’s illegal, it’s a crime. You can’t take the person who committed the worst crime of the century, taking Death Row from Black people and try to give it to white people, and think he gonna grab Snoop and they gonna get it back. It doesn’t work like that.”
talking too much…??? Made me laugh
Snoop is extremely two faced. Remember when he was talking so badly about Kanye, then a couple months later was prasining him in the studio? Dude was never down with Tupac, ever. Neither was Dre. The depiction of Eazy E was BS as well in “Compton”.
How do you know the depiction of Eazy was BS, did you personally know him? the people behind the movie did. Tupac started dissing Dre because he left Deathrow, which was the smartest thing he did. It’s amazing how everyone will turn on snoop and Dre for not being “down” for Pac but did you every think, that if Suge was a better influence…that pac would most likely still be alive?
I mean, if you read first hand accounts from many people around then who DIDN’T take part in making the movie, they called it out for being Hollywood and not accurate, and the movie doesn’t add up with what had been said over the decades before it was made. If you think Dre can be trusted to make a non biased depiction of Eazy, you’re being ignorant. I’m fine with Dre n Snoop wanting to get away from Pac… it’s just the fake d riding they’ve done ever since his death that is annoying. I mean, Dre doing the Tupac hologram? Cmon. That was seen as cool, back then. If he did it today he’d get lambasted for taking Pacs likeness and using it without his permission. If you don’t recognize that Snoop and Dre are phonies that’s on you. Dre wasn’t a gangster. Just a gangster rapper.
You’re all fake! You Pac and him were all plants. Dre is a fake too.
Osoa – gay man rants.
you have no clue wtf a plant is. ZERO.
Deathrow was Deebo in the industry Dre left Deathrow 1st thing he does is 2 Backstreet Bangers (Dont leave me) & (No Diggety) & Pac gets them remixed the beats made (I ain’t mad atcha) & (Toss it up) dissed Dre on his own beats

You’ve done a terrible job. The new Death Row has garbage artists Merkules that Canadian is your guy. Snoop was never good at running labels almost all these sub labels suck. Carti the only one with popping artists and I guess Travis with Don and too some extent CMG with Glo and EST. There hasn’t been another YMCMB, GOODMusic, or MMG level label in years now and that’s for the best.
