Snoop Dogg has playfully hit back at Dave Blunts, the 500lbs rapper who called him out at Juice WRLD‘s tribute concert while performing with an oxygen tank.
The 23-year-old was delivering a couch-bound performance at Juice WRLD Day 2024 at Chicago’s United Center this past weekend when he took aim at Tha Doggfather.

“Aye, Chicago, do y’all have a problem with me sitting down on this stage?” he asked the crowd. “Exactly! So get the fuck off my dick, Snoop Dogg.”
He also barked: “I see the big dog talking. Snoop, you think you funny? You don’t know what it’s like to fight for your life every damn day.”

Snoop appeared to find the rant hilarious, posting a video on Instagram of himself watching the performance and laughing while saying: “That was funny. Go ahead, lil homie — I mean big homie. Do yo thang, cuz, I ain’t fucking with you. Have your fun.
“I apologized to this n-gga and he’s still going off on me, cuz. I must be getting old.”
The West Coast rap legend then filmed himself rapping along to Blunts’ promethazine anthem “The Cup” but changing the lyrics to from “I can’t put down the cup” to “I can’t put down the blunt.”
He said in the clip: “Leave me alone, cuz. I’m trying to enjoy my lil’ life over here. Go keep doing your shows, man. Keep rocking and rolling, man.

“I’m with you, dawg. I ain’t against you, I’m with you. I can’t put down the blunt and you can’t put down the cup [laughs].”
Dave Blunts’ outburst appears to have been caused by recent social media comments made by Snoop Dogg concerning his size.
In response to a viral video of Blunts performing “The Cup” while sat down on a chair, Snoop wrote: “Well put down the chicken wings and tata chips Nefew and that chair gone break soon get to the end of cup [crying face emojis].”

In other news, Snoop Dogg is busy rolling out his new album Missionary, which is his first project to be entirely produced by Dr. Dre since his 1993 debut Doggystyle.
The duo recently unveiled their collaboration with rock legend Sting, titled “Another Part of Me,” which heavily samples The Police’s 1979 classic “Message in a Bottle.”
As well as borrowing from one of his most famous tracks, Sting recorded fresh vocals for the single.
He revealed in a recent interview with the BBC that he worked on the song in the studio with Snoop and Dre.

He said: “Me and Snoop made a recording of ‘Message in a Bottle,’ which he’s called something else. I played the guitar and I sang on it, but Snoop also sings on this, which is quite a revelation to me.”
Missionary is set to arrive on December 13 and will feature further appearances from Eminem, 50 Cent, Method Man and more.
