A handful of entertainers and artists, including Snoop Dogg, Jhené Aiko and Aloe Blacc, feature in a newly published public service announcement who want indivudials with 401K plans to divest from the gun industry.
The campaign, titled “#ImUnloading,” is a partnership between Unload Your 401K and the No Guns Allowed anti-gun violence movement.
During the public service announcement, Snoop Dogg spoke on how he’s been affected by gun violence over the years.
“How I’ve been affected by gun violence over the years is through deaths of friends and family members and associates,” the Long Beach, California rapper says.
Jhené Aiko also spoke about how guns have affected her saying, “When I was five years old, I was held at gunpoint in a home invasion.”

This has to be a joke right? Gun violence? The crimes these people are talking about are gang related much of the time or are low levels crime committed by desperate individuals. These crimes are occurring in urban areas where gun laws and regulations are stricter in a misguided attempt to curb the violence while in fact enflaming the situation. If more law abiding citizens were armed there would be less crime, it has been proven time and time again by crime statistics in areas that have more conceal & carry permits issued. Don’t listen to these gun grabbing left wing radicals who want to take your rights away. Brutal dictators through out history have disarmed populations and committed unspeakable atrocities because the people couldn’t defend themselves. That is what is happening here in the United States and unless you want our country to look like the Third World you will purchase a firearm and fight back against anyone who wants to take it away.
I’m sorry but you’re a moron. America has more deaths by guns than any other country… because people carry guns. Guns do nothing but escalate a situation, they hold no protective value whatsoever.
Perhaps you should travel to ANY other civilized country in the world, where they have normal gun laws, and dramatically less deaths from guns. Funny how that works – it’s almost as if there’s a correlation…hmm…
