Snoop Dogg has acquired yet another new bag, inking a “new creative partnership” with NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios across film, television, sports entertainment and streaming.
The company’s Chairman Donna Langley announced the new deal on Wednesday (April 23).
“Audiences around the world love Snoop and connect with his unparalleled showmanship and artistry,” Langley told Variety. “Those of us lucky enough to be in his orbit also know his incredible business acumen, endlessly creative spirit and the unapologetic authenticity that he brings to every project. There’s only one Snoop, and we’re so excited for him to join our unbelievable roster of creative partners.”
Among other things, the deal will see Snoop return as a judge on The Voice, as well as release a film about his life that was first announced in 2022 through his Death Row Pictures imprint.

“Not everyone has the courage and vision to see what Death Row Pictures can bring to the table, but Donna and the NBCUniversal team have always understood, which is why I am proud to call NBCUniversal my new home,” Snoop said in a statement. “The Dogg has officially moved into the neighborhood, ya dig?”
In other news, Snoop Dogg recently revealed that he has dreams of opening up a restaurant with celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay.
Speaking to Scottish newspaper TheDaily Record, Snoop revealed that he was desperate to link up with the Kitchen Nightmares star.
He said: “I have told him I want to open a restaurant with him, and maybe it might even be in Glasgow. For real. We are always swapping cooking tips, and I do mean swapping. It’s not just one-way traffic, I send him tips as well – he respects Snoop as a chef.”

Snoop added: “My boy Gordon has got a worse mouth than me, but that’s only because of his passion. You don’t become the best chef in the world without having the passion he does.”
The West Coast legend previously said Ramsay was his inspiration for wanting to join British cooking show, MasterChef.
In an interview with the Mirror last year the rap legend said: “You better believe Snoop could be the new MasterChef judge.”
He added: “My boy Gordon [Ramsay] judges on the US version of the show and I know he would back me to be able to judge on the UK version.”

Snoop affirmed his commitment to the role: “He knows I am not playing when it comes to food. He knows I can cook – I have even given him some tips. I hosted a cooking show over here and I have always been vocal about wanting to work on a UK show. I love the place – and for real, this could be the perfect opportunity.”
