Following this year’s first installment of Dirty Slums, Detroit, Michigan veteran group Slum Village and deejay Mick Boogie have confirmed plans to release a second volume on January 29. The free project is slated to feature Rapper Big Pooh, Focus…, J. Ivy and Clear Soul Forces, among others.
Released in March, 2011, Dirty Slums included contributions from Big Sean, De La Soul as well as Phife Dawg.
The current lineup of the historic group includes original co-founder T3, as well as Young RJ and Illa J.

Need Elzhi
Dope I can’t wait the first one was classic
“Dirty Slums”
Is there any other kind??? LMAO
what? you mean you are not aware of sanitary slums??
the first one was dooppppe. hope we get majority of the tracks from Focus… and RJ. But yeah, Elzhi is definitely needed.
This is not Slum Village. No Baatin. No J Dilla. Not even Elzhi. They need a new name.
This is a damn shame.. This ain’t destiny’s fuckin child. You can’t keep addin folks into a legendary group like SV, especially after u cut the heart (elzhi) out the group. Plus the other 2 “new members” are laughable on the rhymes.. They beats will be dope. But they need to create a new group with a new name cause this cobbling of random dudes does a major disservice to the name and history of Slum Village.
Grow up…. people change members all the time ask the roots where hud is or malik b , or even old school artist 70’s , 80’s , 90’s. Second Slum Village been around before Elzhi remember a guy name J dilla , Baatin. If the music is good who cares and it’s good !
@frank: yea but the roots have kept the core of ?uesto and black thought. that’s the heart and soul of the group. it’s still the roots growing and evolving as the roots. this “slum village” is not the same we knew and loved
