Slim Thug is no stranger to making headlines for reasons outside of music, but this latest story might just be his most bizarre yet.
Footage surfaced on social media over the weekend of the Houston rapper being attacked by a bird while relaxing at his house.

The home security video shows Thug lying on a sunbed in his garden when the bird lands on his knee, startling him.
The bird then appears to begin attacking the rapper, who jumps to his feet and runs away, flailing his arms in an attempt to dodge the bird’s beak and claws.
The Boss Hogg later jumped on Instagram Live to discuss the bizarre incident, revealing he killed the bird by punching it.
“Y’all ain’t gonna believe this shit […] I’m laying down like this […] A fucking bird landed on my knee! I pushed the bird off of me, I jump up, the bird followed me,” he said.

“The bird is after me like this with his claw! The n-gga trying to get me! I turn around, I’m like, ‘What are you moving for? You got hands.’
“I hit the bird and killed the bird. I punched the bird and knocked his ass out! This is fucking crazy. I knocked his ass out. I caught him with a right, I stepped back.”
Thug also zoomed in on the bird lying motionless on the ground in his garden.

Slim Thug recently apologized to Cassie after previously defending Diddy from the singer’s sexual assault accusations.
After Cassie originally made her claims about the Bad Boy boss in a lawsuit that was quickly settled, Thug expressed doubt over her allegations of rape and sex trafficking and suggested she was looking for a payday.
The “Still Tippin'” rapper changed his tune after CCTV footage was leaked of Puffy brutally assaulting his ex-girlfriend in a hotel corridor in 2016.
“Damn Diddy [palm on face emoji] I tried to ride with the Blk man who had no charges yet but I can’t stand behind this [mouth zipped emoji] I’ll take this L,” he wrote on Instagram.
