Skeme Reveals He Is “In Heavy Talks” With TDE

According to the Inglewood, California emcee, Skeme is “very close to TDE” and the two parties are “in heavy talks.” This could possibly mean a deal but nothing is set in stone just yet.

“Them are my brothers and I always have respect for [TDE CEO] Top [Dawg]. That’s big homie,” Skeme revealed exclusively to HipHopDX contributor Bruce Smith.

“It’s yet to be seen where exactly I’m gonna go. I’m just trying to make the right move. The next move has to be the best one,” he added. “As a hustler, that’s how I feel. With that being said, I am very close to TDE, them is the homies, and we are in heavy talks. It could be something.”

Skeme has collaborated with Top Dawg members in the past. Notable features include his “I Do This (Remix)” verse for Kendrick Lamar and “Kidz With Gunz,” his collaborative cut with ScHoolboy Q. Skeme has released a few projects independently including “Pistols & Palm Trees,” “Alive & Living” and “The Statement.” His latest project, “Ingleworld” is due out later this year.
