Filipino rapper Shanti Dope kicks off 2021 with his brand-new single “Ikaw” (“You”), which features an assist from R&B singer-producer Pino G and rapper Jobe Nkemakolam.
“Ikaw” sees the viral rapper tapping into his romantic side once again. Unlike his previous traditional hip hop and trap-infused singles, “Teknik” and “Normalan,” which are both released in 2020, Shanti Dope eases into a mellow, R&B-inspired territory to proclaim his love.
Directed by Edrex Clyde Sanchez, the music video stars Shanti Dope and his collaborators surrounded by a variety of luxury cars.
Following the music video release, Shanti Dope shared a behind-the-scenes vlog on his “ShanTV” YouTube channel.
