Sexyy Red will look to keep her banner rookie year going and carry her momentum into 2024 with a new single she’s teasing centered around her “booty cheeks.”

The St. Louis rapper previewed a snippet of the upcoming anthem — possibly titled “Booty Cheeks” — on Instagram Live earlier this week which found her twerking along to the catchy chorus celebrating her backside in sweatpants and a white tank top.

Look at them booty cheeks,” she raps on the track’s hook over thumping 808s.

The raunchy track doesn’t have a release date but that didn’t stop a pregnant Sexyy Red from showing out while having dollars raining all around her like it was the at-home version of the strip club.

“That baby in there thinking he riding with SpongeBob when he was tryna get his license,” one fan hilariously commented under Akademiks‘ repost of the clip, while another wrote: “Her time is almost up. Fellas we will be ok in about a year. This shit don’t last long. Trust me.”

This isn’t the first time Sexyy Red has been criticized for twerking while pregnant. Last month, footage of her shaking it at her Terminal 5 NYC concert went viral and some proceeded to slam the St. Louis rapper on social media.

“Imagine this being yo momma [crying face emoji],” wrote one critic on Akademiks‘ Instagram page, while another said: “She should be ashamed of herself.”

Someone else expressed concern for the well-being of her unborn child by writing: “That baby bouta come out sounding like doodlebob from all that shaking.”

Sexyy Red wasn’t without her supporters, though, as one person argued: “Realistically tho, she suppose to stop being an artist and stop making money just because she pregnant?”

Regardless, the “Pound Town” rapper is seemingly unbothered by the critics and she’ll continue to be herself, pregnant or not.
