In preparation for his next album Rooted, Scarface has gathered quite the collection of artists to feature and produce for the project.
In an interview with MTV’s “RapFix Live”, Face revealed that features on the project will include Akon, Cee Lo, John Legend, and Jadakiss.
The album will also feature production from Nottz, Jake One, and Kardiak, though most of the credit goes to Ervin “EP” Pope. “I got some good stuff. EP saved the project,” said EP of the California native.
“I just sent him my whole album, that’s how much I cared if he leaked it or not, but instead he finished the tracks, he put the hooks on, he put some instruments in and he made the album. I appreciate EP for what he did.”

EP is one of the most underrated westcoast producers…the Doctor’s Advocate intro track Lookin’ At You was dope as hell
Agreed.
100% agreed! He did a decent job on LAX too, but those tracks were definiately not his best. Glad that Scarface co-signed him, so maybe he can get more recognization.
This nigga dating Gay-Z for real. That’s why he talks about him so much. C’mon Face, let it be known you gon marry Shawn in the H come outta the closet you faggot.
fuck outa here wit that bulshit man

BRRRRAAPPPPPPPPP
Looking good!
SUSPECT AS FUCK
Scarface is always saying he’s leaving the game, then he randomly pops out of nowhere with new albums…Rappers are bipolar…
no they just love the art and can’t leave it
This nigga Jay is 96 years old and still wanna rap. His talent is over, he ain’t got nothing to rap about anymore, so it’s time for him to put the mic down.
Put your keyboard down and go finish suckin lil waynes dick. And dont forget to wipe your chin
who the fuck are you to decide when a nigga gotta hang it up
wash your ass
Jay Z > almost every other rapper
legend
Akon.. Lol
Akon has some good hooks on a few songs before he went mainstream
There’s nothing wrong with Akon. For a minute there he was everywhere.
We need another Nas/ Face collabo
The interview gave me the feelin that Face doesn’t care about this album. Even more because knowing the shit he went through in the Court system had to do with money and child support, he probably wants to stack something extra.
But, most importantly. I saw through his eyes how people get old. Fuck having kids. They come back to haunt you and make you watch over your own shoulder.
Why the flying fuck is this nigga always talking about Jay? hmm, that looks like gay love to me
Akon really… what is this 2006….
Most of y’all wouldn’t talk shit to Scarface in person like that man.

I love Scarface, but saying he didn’t care about the project doesn’t leave me too excited for the album.
Yall crazy. Face just admires Jigga. I am not sure why but thats his poragative. Most of yall be ridding basketball players and football players. If you got a jersey you a dick rider. Let this man say what he wanna say. Dont buy his album if you think he dont care. But know Face rap skills will murder your fav rapper. I can go song for song wit you. I will start: Money & the Power
Eternal props to this man right here. Scarface is one of the best to ever do it in my opinion, I bump his shit on an almost daily basis, and I fucking come from Poland. Hope the new CD comes out decent. Much respect to the veteran in the game.
