Saweetie has found herself at the mercy of people’s jokes after she showed up to the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in a cartoon-like outfit and stumbled through her teleprompter segment.
On Tuesday (September 12), the Icy Girl appeared on the pink carpet dressed in a rose-colored dress which was being held together by two large bones that’s reminiscent of ones that were shown on 1960s hit cartoon show TheFlintstones.

In addition to her Stone Age dress, she also had a difficult time reading the teleprompter at the show.
“We’ve got more…,” she began. “We’ve got more from your favorite nominees. More glitz, more glam, and definitely more music. Coming your way, right after the break. You’re not gonna wanna… You’re not gonna wanna miss what we have up, coming on the VMA pre-show.
“I know that’s right. Stay tuned baby.”

Fans did not take it easy on the rap starlet in the comments section once The Shade Room reposted the footage on Instagram of Saweetie at the VMAs.
“She said she has a bone to pick,” one person wrote, while another added: “YabbaDabbaDon’t wear that again!”

Someone else chimed in, writing: “She got a whole TRex bone attached to her neck,” and a third commenter shared a similar sentiment, saying, “That’s a BBL bone.”
Aside from Saweetie, her boyfriend YG was also the center of fans banter back in July after he wore an outfit that was reminiscent of a Scooby Doo character.
At the time, the West Coast rappers stepped out together at a swanky restaurant in West Hollywood, and paparazzi were stationed outside to grab footage and flicks of the Hip Hop couple.
YG hopped out of the driver’s seat of his black Maybach Mercedes-Benz and like a gentleman, opened the door for his passenger princess Saweetie as they strutted into the restaurant while holding hands and flanked by a security guard.
It was YG’s outfit that stole the show, though, as he was roasted for wearing a highlighter-yellow jacket with reflective strips and baggy flared jeans that sagged around his waist.

“N-gga dressed like the Scooby doo mystery machine,” one fan wrote in The Shade Room‘s Instagram comment section previously, while another added: “YG dressed like he about to solve a mystery in a van with a dog.”
One more user chimed in with some fashion advice for YG, writing: “Sagging in boot cut jeans is nasty work!”
