San Francisco to host Gay Hip-Hop Panel

This Saturday, December 1, will see a hip-hoppers address something that they don’t like to talk about: homosexuality.

“Stop looking at me Strange: Race, Gender and Sexuality in Hip-Hop,” will be a panel discussion about hip-hop and the gay community, and is part of San Francisco’s first-ever Black gay/transgender film festival. Panelists will include MC Hanifah Walidah, film-maker Ayize Jama Everett, author Marvin K. White, MC Marcus Rene Van, and others.

The event takes place at San Francisco’s Brava Theater Center.
