Russ has become the latest in a string of celebrities to be a victim of home burglary.

According to TMZ, surveillance footage showed two people entering the rapper’s home through a basement door on Thursday (November 16). Nearly two hours later, the perps had made off (through the front door) with bags filled to the brim with costly items.

Russ, who was not at home at the time of the incident but reported it to the Roswell Police Department the very next day, explained he caught the incident on his home security system.

During a FaceTime call with authorities — who toured the home in his absence — the “What They Want” rhymer said the burglars had made off with 5 firearms, which included a pair of Glock 19s, a CZ Scorpion, and two Walther handguns as well as two Chanel bags with a total value of $24k.

Russ also alleged the perps drove off in his girlfriend’s 2020 Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG.

Police have yet to be able to identify potential suspects. Authorities noted to TMZ only that the perpetrators were wearing jackets and gloves.

The New Jersey-bred recording artist joins a long list of celebs to have their houses become the target of burglars over the years, including Rihanna, Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, Iggy Azalea, and Wiz Khalifa.

In July, the Pittsburgh rapper revealed on Twitter that three burglars attempted to rob his home while he was on stage performing at Clarkston, Michigan’s Pine Knob Music Theatre as part of his High School Reunion Tour with Snoop Dogg.

“3 n-ggas wit Pooh shiesty masks tried to run in my crib while i was on stage,” he wrote, referencing the black ski mask made popular by the incarcerated Memphis rapper.

Wiz didn’t offer any more details about the attempted home invasion, so it’s unclear whether the culprits took off with any of his stuff.
