With both the popularity of “U.O.E.N.O.” and the controversy surrounding the record, the song’s creator, Atlanta rapper Rocko, has found himself in a position where he may “have to change” the record if he hopes to take the song to mainstream radio.
Rocko spoke on the record, which has been engulfed in controversy thanks to Rick Ross’ verse, during an interview with New York City’s Hot 97 earlier today.
“The record instantly became a smash over the All-Star Weekend and stuff like that. It just became a smash in the streets. So with me, I feel like I’m a street artist so I feel like the record with Ross that will always be the original record,” Rocko explained. “But because of the type of attraction the record has as far as like radio and all over the country and things of that nature it puts me in a position to where I have to change it.”
The “U.O.E.N.O.” crafter later revealed that there are quite a number of artists who have recorded verses for a new version of the song. Among those artists is Young Jeezy who Rocko confirmed did pen a verse for the song but couldn’t confirm if the rapper will in fact appear on the updated version.
“In life you have to put everything on the scale,” said Rocko. “You know what I’m saying? If it’s not weighing up then you just have to do what you have to do. With all respect to the homie Ross…It’s crazy because it’s a Catch 22. Cause it’s like I don’t want to take him off…It doesn’t matter who I put on the song that’s gonna always be the original version of it. It’s not like I can do another verse and be like, ‘Okay, this the original right here.’”

Don’t do it Rocko. It will dilute your brand and kill your buzz. Jeezy is fake BMF. Ross is the real deal.
siiiiiiike!
Jeezy is a real BMF. Ross is a fake gangster who was a cop.
WILLIAM WAS NOT NEEDED ANYWAY THE BEAT AND HOOK IS WHAT MAKES THE TRACK HOT
He could do that or, he could just ask Ross to write a different verse… Preferably one which doesn’t evoke the word “rape” when someone reads it.
the damage is done, he needs to dump the cop and get jeezy to save the song
HE HAD TO CHANGE HIS versus and “He aint even know it”
It hasn’t been a good year for Rozay…no worries, I’ll still be spinning this record whenever I DJ
Learn to DJ
I got dropped from the song, and I ain’t even know it
This will flop on radio, and Rocko aint know it.
GD’s on his ass and he aint even know it
Jeezy won and ross ain’t even know it
This shit reminds of when Future had to edit Wayne’s verse on that song.
YO WHY DIZ NIKKA HATIN ON DA #BOSS???
rape aint good for business unless you’re a dna specialist
this song is trash. smh. cant believe all this buzz over a throwaway beat and whack ass lyrics. this generation of hip hop is odling out the fast food rap by the value meal.
At last somebody speaks the truth. There is absolutely nothing special about this track.
I hate rap & I hate hip-hop. My little brother made me hear this when we were driving through Brooklyn. This song was written for any man familiar with women. I thought Rocko ruined his own tune with that ghetto rat verse, here I learn it was Ross! That verse about being a pathetic scumbag convinced he’s the cream of the crop, ruins the entire song. So does the second verse later that mimicks its content.
So many are 100% right that nobody give a f***k how cool you think you are, or how you roll. The aspect of taking pride in yourself to afford the best, only to find the girl you wish to impress is too stupid to know it; is an almost universal experience.
If Rocko focused the rest around that & where to go once you realize, “if she can’t even appreciate luxuries like these, how the f***k can she even recognize what I am?”
Instead you have a great hook drowning in typical ghetto rat manure.
Rocko, tha track is hard! leave it alone! Ross verse had a strong element to the song! It’s authentic, why bootleg it?
nothing Rick “the lard ass” Ross has ever done has been authentic
EERYBODY HATE WHEN YOU ON TOP GET LIKE ROSS INSTAD OF HATIN
Shut up nigga and learn how to spell before you get your mama slapped.
ross has never been on top of anything in his life except from all those women he drugged
He thinks this song has radio attraction all over the country lmao…nobody outside of the hood would hear this song if not for Ross controversial lyrics.
Somebody needs to edit this fat fuck out of life!
Rozay rapin’ hoes with help of drugs. Rozay first drugging you and then rape ya and then write song about it.
ROSS THAT NIGGA
