Rockness Monstah [click to read] is facing assault and attempted murder charges, stemming back to January of 2008 [click to read]. Daunting as the charges may seem, Rock did not seem too worried. In fact, he is confident that everything will be “good” in the end.
“It’s an accusation and it’s a bunch of bullshit,” Rock told XXLmag.com of the charges. “For once in my life — not to say that I appreciate the law in any sense of the word — but I can say that if they do their job and they do their job thoroughly, then I ain’t go no problem. It’ll be good.”
Unafraid of the impending court dates, Rock continues to perform alongside fellow emcees including
“You got a couple of people who are afraid to touch the situation. …They don’t know whether I’ma be able to travel or do shit like that. But I just did a whole month overseas.”
Rock’s West Coashka Mixtape is due out this summer. “For all those people who love all the west coast and love that ‘Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka’ shit.”
The magazine also notes that Sean P will also release his mixtape Kimbo Price this year.
