Roc Marciano just dropped his 11th solo album Marciology, and he’s brought The Alchemist, Larry June and more along for the ride.

Released on Friday (March 29), the album marks Marciano’s first effort in nearly two years. Additional features include Crimeapple, T.F, Flee Lord, Jay Worthy, Grea8GAWD and Knowledge the Pirate.

The album’s lead single “Gold Crossbow” dropped a day before the album and is produced by Marciano himself.

In 2022, Method Man used his time on Math Hoffa’s barbershop conversation series My Expert Opinion to shout out Roc Marciano, who he believes to be severely underrated.

“Roc is a genius whether people know it or not,” Meth said looking directly into the camera. “You wanna talk about underrated and all that shit. No,no, no, I’m not underrated. I’ve made my bones and there’s people out there…Roc Marciano under fucking rated. Like a motherfucker, man. It be n-ggas like that that I wanna see hit big and be like you know running the fucking culture. You know, follow that shit, and he from Hempstead.”

Roc took to Instagram shortly afterwards to thank the Wu-Tang legend for his kind words.

    “S/O the legend @methodmanofficial,” Roc wrote. “I couldn’t agree more….. and I’m from Pimpstead.”

Roc Marciano has long been revered as one of underground rap’s most influential lyricists and producers, especially by those deep within the culture. He previosuly linked up with T.F. for his album Blame Kansas, which featured appearances from Mephux, CRIMEAPPLE and Flee Lord, among others.

Roc had also linked up with Flee Lord for their Delgado project in 2021, which included features from Conway The Machine, Stove God Cooks and Bun B among others.

In 2022, he joined forces with The Alchemist for the joint album, The Elephant Man’s Bones.

Rhe 14-track album boasts guest appearances from Action Bronson, Boldy James and Knowledge The Pirate, as well as gangsta rap legend Ice-T.

The Alchemist further fueled fan excitement ahead of its release by tweeting, “I think this is the best shit we ever did. Can’t wait for you to hear it.”

    1. without listening to it, i can already tell there are no drums. Ill check for it, but im not holding my breath. Marcberg days are long gone.

    2. It is no secret I am unapologetically Roc Marci all day long! His bars are insane on this album. He finally added drums again to enhance his sound. This is hip hop! Drums are essential to help emphasize word play and lyrical harmony throughout albums. Dope album for sure!

    3. Underground really trying to shove crimeaple down our throats. Same can be said about Rome streetz. Surprised he’s not on here too. Smh
