Rihanna has never been afraid to admit she has a large forehead – and she was actually quite surprised her second child didn’t inherit the prominent feature.
Talking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet of her newest Fenty x Puma launch on Monday (December 18), RiRi noted that her first son with A$AP Rocky, RZA, definitely got it from his mama, but their second son, Riot – not so much.

“The only thing I imagined was probably the forehead on RZA,” she said while laughing. “I mean. Riot doesn’t have it. I’m like wait, are you sure? You can’t lose this thing!”
You can watch the interview below, with the forehead convo starting around the 2:20 mark.
In May 2022, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child who they later revealed was named RZA Athelston Mayers, after the Wu-Tang Clan founder.
In February 2023, during her performance at Super Bowl LVII, the Bajan singer announced that she was pregnant again and their second son, Riot Rose Mayers, was then born in August. However, Rihanna recently admitted that revealing her pregnancy at the Super Bowl was not actually planned.
“Here’s the thing — I did what I had to do, right?” she told Access Hollywood in the same interview. “My jumper couldn’t zip up. No one knew I was pregnant, I just told my stylist to make sure it’s stretchy. So the under arm was stretchy and this was baggy but, you know, the zip. It just stopped right there, so it had to be what it had to be!”
This was previously revealed by choreographer Parris Goebel, who told Good Morning America: “[Rihanna was] not planning to make a reveal at all. She was going to maybe wear something baggy that didn’t really show and then leading up to the show we were just like, ‘Oh, she’s really showing.'”

The show was Rihanna’s first live singing performance in five years and became the most watched Super Bowl halftime performance in history, being viewed by more than 121 million people.
She has previously teased having more children with Rocky, telling British Vogue: “My wish would be I would like to have more kids but whatever God wants for me, I’m here.”
