Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have reportedly become parents for a second time, with word coming down that they’ve welcomed baby number two.
According to a TMZ report on Monday (August 21), Rih gave birth privately on August 3 in Los Angeles. While little details are known, the site said a source confirmed that it’s a boy and his name also starts with R like his big brother, RZA.

The pair kept their first son’s name a secret for nearly a year – but just ahead of his first birthday, his Wu-Tang Clan-inspired name was revealed. The Daily Mail got its hands on the baby’s birth certificate in early May, revealing his name to be RZA Athelston Mayers.
His namesake was later asked how he felt about the baby’s name, and the Wu-Tang leader called it a “great honor.”
“[It’s a] great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even of my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name,” RZA said. “RZA is only a name, it’s a title. So it’s an honor and I salute her and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me.”

Being named after legendary Hip Hop artists runs in the family, as Rocky previously revealed he was named after the rapper Rakim.
Rihanna first revealed her pregnancy in February after sporting a substantial bump when she performed at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show.
Talking to British Vogue for her cover story earlier this year, Rihanna opened up about her experiences with early motherhood.
“Oh my God, it’s legendary,” she said of her first nine months as a mother. “It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.
She continued: “You literally try to remember it – and there are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far because… because it doesn’t matter.”
She also spoke on her relationship with Rocky. “We’re best friends with a baby,” Rih said. “We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”

“I’m just sitting on the sidelines when they’re together,” she added of Rocky’s adjustment to fatherhood. “I’m literally the girl trying to get into the boys club, waiting for my turn. He is obsessed with his father. And I’m like: ‘Didn’t I give birth to you? What is going on?’
“Their connection is undeniable. The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. The whole thing they say about sons and moms, it’s a myth. Sons and fathers is crazy. I realized that the validation that you really need as a boy is from your father.”
