“Getting money fuck the fame/ Ever since n-ggas called me I can’t trust the same/ You been in my back and put mud all in your brother name/ I’m gonna get you back because you know Cardo don’t play no fucking games/ All in the open with that .30 on me let it aim,” Meek raps on the unreleased song.
Rozay hinted at the track arriving “very soon,” while Meek captioned his Instagram post by calling their in-studio reconciliation “perfect timing.”

Both rappers received a ton of love for mending fences, with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Russ, Royce Da 5’9, Lola Brooke, Slim Thug, CyHi The Prynce and more jumping into their comments sections.
“This is Kings move together,” Busta wrote.
Meek Mill signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group in 2011 and went on to release five albums under the imprint. They’ve teamed up for numerous collaborations in the past including “I’ma Boss,” “Believe It,” Wale’s “Ambition,” “So Sophisticated,” “What’s Free” and more.
Rumors of a feud began to circulate in 2021 when Akademiks claimed that Ross was allegedly denied entry to Meek’s birthday party in Miami. Meek had freqequently voiced his frustration with his label contract, claiming he was owed money.
The duo publicly squashed their beef last November when Rozay made a special guest appearance at Meek’s Dreams & Nightmares 10th anniversary concert in his hometown of Philadelphia.
Earlier this year, Master P provided insight into Meek’s deal with MMG, which he believed wasn’t “straight” so he walked away from managing the emerging Philly native.

“I was Meek Mill’s manager. Me and James, when he first started,” he said on The Gauds Show podcast. “So, let me tell you why I stopped. I knew that Meek was talented, at the beginning. We had that song. I was like, ‘Meek, you don’t need to sign with nobody.’ Meek was like, ‘I’m gonna sing with Ross.’ I had looked at the contract and Ross a good dude. But he ain’t have his business straight.”
Master P continued: “Ross got his shit together now. He a boss. But I’m saying, at that time, you evolving, I seen it, I had the crystal ball, but [Meek] ain’t want to listen. I told James, ‘Hey, it’s cool, you gon’ handle that.’ I ain’t never got mad at Meek, I just walked away from the deal ’cause if you don’t see what I see. I been there already.”
