Rick Ross Threatens To Sue Woman Using ‘Boss’ Trademark For Event

Rick Ross isn’t happy that someone is using his “Boss” trademark to promote an upcoming event featuring some prominent names.

According to TMZ, The Biggest Bawse is gearing up to take legal action against Tiffany McIntosh for using his moniker to promote her I’m The Biggest Boss Conference, which takes place October 13-16 in Houston.

Rick Ross is urging McIntosh to change the event’s name as he believes it causes brand confusion with his own Boss Up Conference — which took place back in September — and bites his songs “The Boss” and “Push It.” He has also asked her to stop using his music to promote the event.

The Biggest Boss Conference will feature an array of star-studded guests including Master P, Romeo Miller and actor Vivica Fox.

Rozay wanted McIntosh to give him a decision by Wednesday (October 5), but according to sources (via TMZ), McIntosh has no intention of changing the title and will proceed with the event as planned.

Meanwhile, Rick Ross has been keeping busy with multiple new side hustles. In addition to building his Wing Stop franchise empire, the Miami mogul recently launched a new cigarette business with his own line of hemp-related products.

The Biggest Bawse recently announced he was partnering with Hempacco to launch Hemp Hop Smokables, a product offering hemp cigarettes, smoking paper, and alternatives to nicotine tobacco.

“I truly believe in the health benefits of hemp-derived products,” Ross said in a statement. “Having had my own health scares, and through my healing process, I decided I would develop a line of smokables to help others with the benefits of hemp cannabinoids.”

He also recently gave fans a sneak peek at his new motor museum that he’s building to house his huge car collection.

In a video posted to his Instagram Story earlier this month, the Richer Than I Ever Been rapper showed fans that construction is well underway and that more details would be emerging soon.

“Rick Ross car collection is expanded baby,” the MMG mogul said. “We had to go bigger. We need more shit. We got more cars. We got 200 and we plan to get another 100 this year baby, so this one of the first of 3 we building. I’ll let you know the name of the auto museum, let’s go.”

      1. Stole his name like he was Drug Lord Freeway Ricky Ross when he was just a Correctional Officer. He just getting exposed for he is. Which is a Fraud.

          1. Don’t think so. Last time I read the real Rick Ross tried to call him or reach out to him and he avoided him. Boss clown! Hahaha

    1. Let me remind you that the biggest boss is still Hugo. Man, those rappers can be stupid. Ye, Iggy, Diddy, Game…you name them. Money in the bank but poor human beings

    2. I really wish to know how come the industry is showing The Biggest Fraud so much love. ‘Real recognize real’ is not available anymore.

    3. Y’all need to stop taking these rappers so seriously. With these rap personas they are no different than characters on TV and in movies.

    4. He’s going to lose. You can’t trademark common used phrases just because you like to say it all the time. Dumbass

    5. This is rich especially since Slim Thug was the boss first. But when Ross started using it Slim Thug said he was fine with it.

    6. How can he have a issue with this… Rick Ross isn’t his real name… He named himself after the Freeway Ricky Ross from L.A. former drug dealer… He was took to court and won the right to continue using the name which was unfair… He could have simply cganged it to Rozay

    7. Literally uses another man’s full name yet gets mad when somebody uses the common word boss. You can’t make this up. He should open up an acting school and teach inner city kids how to act like another real person and make up their entire identity

    8. Remember these words… Rap artist, artistry, skill, craft and entertainment. That’s the world that they are living in. In court they claim that their lyrics are nothing but entertainment. So, enjoy their music but always keep in mind it’s just entertainment, whether good or bad. Giving someone a million dollars worth of game right now. Hahaha

      1. I hate to be the one to tell you this but these rappers believe themselves to be the person they rap about, including Ricky. You saying they are just entertainment and to treat it like so isn’t million dollars worth of game, it’s a child’s view on the topic.

        1. It doesn’t matter how much they believe that they are their rap personas though. When they and we know it’s just acting. These rappers are delusional and need mental help if they really believe it. They don’t fool us all.

          1. Even the best actors and actresses know that they are just playing a part, interpreting a role on TV or in the movies. A rapper can’t honestly believe they are their personas. At the end of the day, Officer Ricky knows his not the real Rick Ross. I rest my case.
