Miami Beach, FL

Rick Ross is rolling up his sleeves and getting hands dirty with the major renovation to his $35 million Miami Beach home — and he has a new moniker to go with it.

In a clip posted online on Wednesday (January 31), Ross can be seen wearing a hard hat, high-vis jacket and wielding a pick axe, all while smoking a blunt.

In the video, he hilariously coins himself “Boss the Builder” before giving fans a tour of construction work being done to the properly and sharing insight into his ambitious plans.

Walking his followers around the empty but enormous estate, Rozay says: “Morning glory. It’s Boss the Builder. The day, it’s complete. We got a lot of champagne moments but right now we gotta lotta work to put in.

“It’s one of my biggest investments, one of ’em. Biggest boss, $50 million play. All the hustlers, talk is cheap, we doing this for the streets.”

“So look, I know you know about my $1 million fish tank but this is the first time I’ve ever had a pond. Japanese coi,” he continues as he explains where the pond will be in the house as well as the fireplace and artwork.

“You invest your hard earned money, you gotta remain hands-on. No job too big or too small for a real boss, you hear me?”

The property, located in the exclusive Star Island neighborhood in Miami Beach, was bought by Rick Ross last year for a reported $37 million and has since been gutted by the Maybach Music Group mogul.

Ross previously announced renovations were underway earlier this week by filming diggers on his property and showing off the house which had been stripped bare.

He also claimed the luxury pad will be worth a staggering $50 million once the work is complete.

The 40,000 sq. ft. property came equipped with amenities like a games room, a 40-foot dock on the waterfront, an in-ground pool, a pool table and plaza deck terraces. Ross apparently always intended on renovating the property.

Diddy also lives on the island and gifted Rozay a golf cart to welcome him to the neighbourhood last summer.

The embattled Bad Boy boss also jokingly warned Ross about throwing extravagant parties on the island: “I’m not playing with you, Rozay. No fucking parties. No pool parties. I’m the head of the [committee], I don’t do none of that shit. You hear me? Rozay, we not doing none of that.”
