The “New Freezer” rapper’s lawyers said: “We believed that if we proceeded to go to trial we would have been successful. The offers leading up to the trial included a period of supervision.

“That being said, our client is pleased with the outcome of time served and a fine to resolve the matter and looks forward to continued success.”

According to police, Rich responded by saying: “I’ll bond out in 20 minutes” and attempted to enter the hotel through a different entrance but was confronted by security.

The 31-year-old then allegedly jumped the fence before encountering a K-9 unit. He was ordered to leave the hotel but refused before he was taken into custody.

It was reported that Rich was desperate to enter the hotel because he was due to meet with a music promoter who owed him money for a performance at Hyde Beach nightclub alongside NLE Choppa and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

Rich did not appear fazed by the arrest as shortly after his release, he began posting scenes from Scarface on social media.
