Rich Homie Quan has explained that he and Roddy Ricch have settled their issues after he accused the Compton rapper of removing him from a track he did with DJ Drama.
During an IG Live, Quan said he had been tapped to appear on the track titled “FMFU” off Drama’s latest project I’m Really That, which arrived last Friday (March 31). Additionally, the “Flex” rapper claimed that no one was on the track when he received it.

In the since-deleted clip, the rapper then played a snippet of the verse he sent over. “This what I was expecting to hear,” he said.
However, when the final project was released, Quan said he noticed something was missing: his verse. Quan was seemingly replaced by Gucci Mane, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Wayne — he asserts that Roddy Ricch was behind the change, and presumably requested his removal.

“Nothing against Gucci Mane, ’cause I love Gucci bruh,” he continued. ” Bro, wouldn’t nobody on that song when it was sent to me.”
He added: “Even if you ain’t want me on the song, man somebody could’ve called my phone.”
Quan said that he wasn’t even aware that friction existed between him and the Compton rapper. The rapper seemed very agitated by the situation, provoking him to challenge Roddy Rich to a Verzuz. He even claimed that the “Ballin” rap star’s catalog “couldn’t fuck” with his.

Earlier on Tuesday (April 4), Quan took to his Instagram Stories to retract his accusations and reveal that he and Roddy had talked on the phone and settled the issue “like men.”
“Just got off the phone with @roddyricch everything is smooth,” he wrote. “We settled it like men and I want to apologize for my position at the moment and take this opportunity to show everyone that through conversations we can have solutions.”
In other Rich Homie Quan news, the rapper kicked off 2023 with an explosive new single titled, “Military” back in January.
The rapper was also named among a star-studded witness list from the prosecution in Young Thug’s YSL RICO case, which also included Birdman and Lil Wayne.
Birdman headed the Rich Gang collective that helped usher Thugger into the mainstream, which fellow ATLien Rich Homie Quan was affiliated with. As for Wayne, his 2015 tour bus shooting was named in the YSL indictment.
According to the New York Times, prosecutors pointed out that the man who shot at Weezy’s bus, Jimmy Winfrey (also known as Peewee Roscoe), has ties to YSL. Winfrey is also part of the YSL indictment, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

At the time of the tour bus shooting, both Young Thug and Birdman were listed as co-conspirators, although they were never charged.
