Rapper Retchy P recently took to Twitter to lambaste Maybach Music Group recording artist Wale in light of the recent passing of A$AP Mob’s co-founder, A$AP Yams.
Retchy P first revealed his thoughts that Yams’ death should have instead fell onto the shoulders of Flo Rida or Roscoe Dash.
“IT SHOULDA BEEN FLO RIDA,” he said. This was quickly followed with “OR ROSCOE DASH” and “JUS THINKIN OUT LOUD.”
After the aforementioned tweets, Retchy P pointed to Washington D.C. rapper, Wale.
“SHOULDA BEEN @WALE,” Retchy P tweeted this past Saturday (January 24).
This was quickly followed with, “DEF @WALE” to which the MMG lyricist responded with, “@RetchyP so I should b dead? U want me to die? Correct? U don’t know me but wish death to me.”
In response, Retchy P wrote: “@WALE DEF, WOULD SWAP U OUT FOR MY MANS IN A HEARTBEAT #COLDWORLD.”
Wale hit back with: “@RetchyP yeah and Id swap U out for a hunnit good men I lost. U wish death on people.. U a different kind of nigga . Enjoy your evening.”
Again responding, Retchy P wrote: “@Wale IM A SICK KID WHAT CAN I SAY, DO SUTTIN WHEN U SEE ME I BE OUTSIDE.”
Following Retchy P and Wale’s back-and-forth, fellow D.C. and MMG spitter Fat Trel jumped in on the conversation to condemn P’s words.
“@retcyp NIGGA I WILL SMAKKK YA WHOLE FACE OFF!!! STOP PLAYIN BIG,” Fat Trel said.
In response, Retchy P wrote: “@FATTREL WE COULD ALL GO TA HELL IN DIS MUTHAFUCKA U AINT SAYIN BUT A WORD NIGGA U OUT HERE DEFENDIN ANOTHA GROWN ASS MAN TYPA NIGGA IS HE.”
Fat Trel subsequently tweeted: “@RetchyP NIGGA I AINT TRYNA HEAR DAT SHYT!!! ILL B IN NYC SOON…PULL UP ON UR BLOCK!!!!! NO TALKIN”
