Although Remy Ma claimed she was done with the Nicki Minaj drama, it seems the “SHether” author couldn’t pass up an opportunity to mock the superstar Black Barbie. On Sunday (June 4), DJ Clue posted a flier on his Instagram account announcing an event dubbed “An All White Affair” featuring Nicki Minaj with the words “The Queen’s Homecoming” below her name. In the comment section, Remy wrote, “Home-going” with a playful emoji.
Yes, it was subtle, but the Love & Hip Hop star made it abundantly clear she still has no love for her fellow New Yorker.
Remy kicked the heat up when she dropped the now-infamous “SHether” track back in February, which many believe obliterated Minaj in the process. She then followed up with “Another One,” seemingly to reel in her apparent nemesis. After weeks of silence, Minaj fired back with “No Frauds” featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.
Although Remy said she wasn’t really in the business of tearing down other females while on Buzzfeed’s Another Round podcast, it looks like a little jab here and there is still fair game.
Remy and Minaj go head-to-head for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the 2017 BET Awards on June 25.
