Rashad Charjuan Owens, who is being held in Travis County Jail without bond on two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault after he allegedly drove into a crowd of people outside of a Tyler, the Creator concert at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas yesterday (March 13), is an aspiring rapper and producer, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Owens’ Soundcloud account is under his moniker, K.A.B254. K.A.B is short for “KillingAllBeatz,” the story says.
The 21-year-old also ran the Strictly Mafioso Entertainment company.
On Tuesday (March 11), the K.A.B twitter account posted the following message: “Any underground or industry artist on cheap budget @SXSW hit me for beats nd promo video.”
Yesterday, Owens allegedly tried to flee a DUI checkpoint and drove into a crowd of people in the streets of Austin.
The car reportedly drove through a temporary SXSW barricade and went the wrong way on a crowded one-way street. Concert-goers were waiting outside of a venue where Tyler, the Creator was scheduled to perform.
