Brooklyn rapper Fabolous has become a person of interest for New York City police following the murder of 22-year-old rapper Greg “G-Baby” Brown at a nightclub in Queens back in March.
Police have yet to question the rapper, but the New York Daily News reports that a surveillance tape shows Fabolous exiting the Queens nightclub only moments before Brown is shot.
“[Fabolous] is about to get in the car as the shooting goes down,” a police source explained to the New York Daily News.
According to police and Brown’s family, Fabolous and Brown once had issues with one another but put their problems with each other behind them.
“My son was going to talk to Fab in a car, and he got shot three times,” revealed Brown’s mother, Roxanne Brown. “I don’t know what’s going on. I just want to know who killed my son.”
A rep for Fabolous was contacted by the New York Daily News, but would not comment and the rapper’s lawyer did not return calls made by the publication.
No arrests have been made in the murder which took place on March 13.
