Rap Release Dates: Young Jeezy, Mac Miller, Bow Wow, DJ Drama

Today would have marked the day Young Jeezy dropped Thug Motivation 103. However, in what seemed like a split decision, Jeezy pushed the project back to a date unknown. As a consolation, he released “The Real Is Back 2” (listen here and read the review here). According to the world of album pre-orders, Jeezy has moved the released date three months to December 20th. Now maybe this is a ploy to get some early Christmas sales in or perhaps this date will stick. Either way, there is an album waiting to drop. Earlier in the month, Bow Wow will bring Underrated on December 6th. Initially, Bow Wow had his project slated for a November 1st release. On that date, however, expect some goodness from Rapper Big Pooh, Torae, Tyrese, and Wale.

One week up on November 8th, Mac Miller has announced the release of Blue Slide Park. The rising star has been making his presence felt by even collaborating with DJ Premier on “Face the Facts” as part of an upcoming mixtape with DJ Jazzy Jeffy titled “’92 Til Infinity.” In other news, DJ Drama’s Third Power will drop on October 11th. Initially, Drama planned an August 30th release. However, October 11th seems firm, with the track “Never See You Again” featuring Wale already in circulation.

Looks like this Fall isn’t just for artists on the rise.

      1. Charles, is there a reason you keep replying to everyone and telling them to grow up? Half of them didn’t even say anything immature. It’s pretty ignorant when you’re going to act like a 10 year old and insult everybody for no apparent reason. But feel free to insult me, just say something a little more clever than ‘grow up’, Okay?

    1. yall really dont know what you talking about on this website?

mac miller is taylor gangs newest star???

i dont even like his music but i know he aint taylor gang

    2. We all now the snowman likes to realease in the winter! You fake people stop using my name to post stuff against jeezy.

    3. We all now the snowman likes to release all over my face in the winter! You fake people stop using my name to deny that.

      1. thats what im saying. he always said oct 24th. HHDX is the only website sticking with oct 4th. it doesnt even make sense. “headlines” video is not even out yet

      2. both of you need to grow up and learn how to act, im getting really angry at you both! Drake fell da fukk offf, future killed him on his tony montana remix, da same wit waka on round of applause.

    4. i feel bad about it, but Cole World leaked, (damn snitches/ traitors)….. AND IT’S FUCKIN FIRE, J Cole is the new ‘Ye, just a bit more talent in the lyrical section i’d say, rhymin all day…. lol

      1. no one really gives a fuck about him anyways except high school stoners and college kids that have no taste in music

      1. one of these things is not like the other

i am shocked that a styles p fan could get down with this clown mac miller, the jewish wiz khalifa

      2. This comment above me shows how retarded and close minded some hip hop fans are. So what if I listen to styles p and mac? Can hip hop fans not have a range in taste? SMH at “one of these things is not like the other.” So fucking what?

    5. been waiting forever for that new Jeezy to drop, its been pushed back like eight times, come on dude fans been waitin on this one a while, dont know what all the record label drama is about…
