Rap Release Dates: YG, De La Soul, Blu, Lil Debbie

A few new release dates were announced this week, check out what’s new.

De La Soul says they’re coming out with two new albums in the future. No details about the projects are known publicly just yet but the trio’s inspiration for creating more content stems from their Valentines Day’s giveaway of their entire album catalog.

Los Anegeles-based emcee Blu announces that he’s dropping a new project soon. Good To Be Home is set to be released by Nature Sounds/New World Color on May 20 and is expected to be a double album.

Former White Girl Mob member Lil Debbie says she has a new project coming out. California Sweetheart is slated for release March, 25, and Debbie says she wants to include work that focuses on love and heartache on the EP.

Columbus, Ohio native and MHz member Tage is set to release his debut album. Contagion is slated for drop on April 1.

Dirtbag Dan announced his upcoming album via HipHopDX last week. DBDLP: The Dirtbag Dan LP. The album is set to be released March 18, which is the same day he is scheduled to embark on his upcoming The Hunger Pains Tour with Kung Fu Vampire and Wrekonize of Mayday!

Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Onyx and YG all release albums Tuesday.
