Rap Release Dates: T.I., Kreayshawn, Wiz Khalifa, 50 Cent

The good news was bound to stop at some point in the album release date world. While this week is a slow one, save one project – with Bumpy Knuckles and Statik Selektah releasing an extended version of Ambition today – there is plenty to discuss. First off, T.I. has delayed Trouble Man. The album, slated for a September 4th release has now been bumped. While there’s no said date yet for the album now, Tip hopes to drop it still in 2012. Both Kreayshawn and Wiz Khalifa have moved their projects to the same date: September 18th. Kreayshawn’s Somethin’ Bout Kreay was originally scheduled for August 14th and Wiz Khalifa’s O.N.I.F.C. was supposed to arrive August 28th. Now they share space in September. On the brighter side, 50 Cent has announced a release date for Street King Immortal, and that date is November 13th.

    1. at least one album per month should be dope.. interested to see what becomes of Ludacris & Fif’s return. Big Boi album should be dope.

    2. Pusha T still has no reelase date. Kanye knows that Pusha is soundscan poison. Pusha can’t move units solo. The guy is a total joke. No clue why he’s on GOOD music. Kanye is probably thinking the same thing at this point. 2 Chainz is way more marketable than Pusha. Pusha will be dropped soon….just like Common was. BOOK it. When Pusha is broke and on the streets, he’ll be begging Birdman for a handout.

    3. Slaughterhouse – welcome to: Our House
Excited to see what the album is going to sound like on their Shady debut seriously think it’s going to be a Hardcore Hip Hop album despite what these bloggers have being saying in light of the singles, the reason Eminem signed them is because of what they do when they spit and as Em is going to produce on the album I hope it’s some 00-03 Em production.

Blu and Exile – Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them
No need to really explain Blu & Exile make magic when they get together I expect some soul Hip Hop. God underground hip hop is so much better than mainstream right now…

      Saigon – Bread and Circuses
The Greatest Story Never Told was one of my top 10 albums of 2011 and don’t really need to hope that this will be as good because I have full confidence that Saigon will bring it once again. If there is one thing I would hope for would be a lot of Just Blaze production again and I feel he could flow well over some Pete Rock production.

      G.O.O.D. Music – Cruel Summer
I would love this to have a old school Kanye soul sound all over it but from the songs I’ve heard form it so far sounds like a new Kanye sound on it which is cool hopefully it’s more My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy than Watch The Throne.

Lupe Fiasco – Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1
From the 2 singles I’ve heard it sounds more like the first 2 albums Lupe dropped, sonically not on a MC stand point because from that point Lupe has always delivered. Hopefully the album will have a lot of Soundtrakk production on it because they have really good chemistry together.

Kendrick Lamar – Good Kid, m.A.A.d City
From the first 2 singles I’m expecting a very good album, I’m glad he’s said the sound is going to be different form Section.80 not because I didn’t think it was a dope album in fact it was my favourite Hip Hop album of 2011 but so he’s fans don’t try and pigeon hold him in to one sound.

50 Cent – Street King Immortal
Not really a 50 fan anymore just because I haven’t liked his work so much as of late. The thing I don’t get with 50 is his choice in producers, I mean he has a shit load of money and doesnt pick that dope a production team to work with whereas his former/current enemy Game has a much better ear for beats it’s kinda like a Nas & Jay-Z thing. I feel like if he can get some Just Blaze, Kanye West, some good production from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, The Neptunes, DJ Khalil, Cool & Dre, Sean C & LV, Scott Storch etc. it could certainly amp 50’s relevance right back up, expensive but worth it.

Big Boi – Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors
After Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty (My 2nd favourite mainstream album of 2010) I think this album will be dope as fuck as well I think Big Boi gets overlooked a lot, expected when your rhyming partner is Andre 3000 but with both of he’s album (Yes I know Speakerboxx want a solo project but it was a Big Boi album) he’s proved he can do more than just hold his own solo.

      T.I. – Trouble Man
Wonder how Tip is going with this album because I haven’t heard anything commercial come from the album, hope it’s going to have the sonic sound of King (My Favourite T.I. Album) but I haven’t heard anything to really get me excited for the project, still it’s Tip.

      1. The release from J. Cole hasn’t been confirmed from his camp and even if it is real it’s just a import which just means it’s getting released in a country it hasn’t been release in (physically). And I don’t listen to Wiz…

      2. Totally agree man, would love to hear more classic kanye creativity in the GOOD Music album and expecting the best from slaughter house. These lyrisists can deliver, its just a question if they will of not. And if Big Bio stays on point like he did with his last album, its going to be one of the dopest of the year.

    4. FUUQQ YEEZ MY NIKKAS

    5. Besides the fred foxxx album these are all wack. Saigon is good as well but not one of my favorites. What is up with all this commercial rap? WACK!

    6. Meek apparently pushed his back to October. Seems like every album I want to check out is being delayed now…
