Rap Release Dates: Danny Brown, Dom Kennedy, Common, Black Milk

Fall album release dates are filling in even more as summer begins its end.

Danny Brown announced the release date of his forthcoming album. Taking to Twitter last week, the Detroit emcee stamped September 30 as the drop date of his third studio album, Old.

Common says that he has a new EP coming soon. Preluding an album supposedly dropping at the top of 2014, the Chicago native’s newest venture doesn’t have a name or release date yet, but in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX, Common said the EP will feature Vince Staples. “I like him. He’s cold on the mic. When I heard him rapping, I was like, ‘This dude can really rhyme.’ It made me want to write,” Common said when describing the Staples collaboration.

Dom Kennedy finally announced the release date of his highly anticipated upcoming project. Taking to Twitter, the Leimert Park, California native revealed that Get Home Safely would drop on October 1.

Black Milk announced that he’s releasing a new album. October 15 will mark the release date of No Poison, No Paradise, first the Detroit native’s first official LP drop since 2010’s Album Of The Year.

MC Jin announced that he will be releasing an album soon. Hypocrite has no release date yet, however the Miami, Florida-born emcee has been doing a lot of promo for the project as of late including performances, new features and single releases.

    1. Danny Brown Deltron Pusha T Black Milk that’s what seems to be most interesting, also Drake Mellowhigh and Eminem are worth checking.

    2. Y’all can expect Drake, Danny Brown and Timberlake to leak by Friday, possibly even by the end of today for Drizzy. Word is Dom Kennedy and MellowHigh are both very strong projects, many in the industry are paying close attention to notoriously independent Dom Kennedy as they’ve seen potential in him for years but have been waiting for him to pop off with the right record and now this could be it. A$AP MOB will be pushed back 100% as they are nowhere near done. As always, Shady Records are extremely tight-lipped about anything regarding the Eminem album but expect a very Beastie Boys esq sounding album as Marshall got back into the Beastie’s after Mike D’s death and was supposedly heavily influenced in the process.

    3. Ok so let me get this straight. The first album was Pink Friday, then the sequel was Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and now the third installment is Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up? Is she just going to keep adding words to each new album?
5th album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up Relapse
6th album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up Relapse Recovery
7th album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up Relapse Recovery Pinkmatic
8th album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up Relapse Recovery Pinkmatic Pinktox
9th album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up Relapse Recovery Pinkmatic Pinktox The Pink Album
10th album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up Relapse Recovery Pinkmatic Pinktox The Pink Album Enter the 69 Chambers
11th album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up Relapse Recovery Pinkmatic Pinktox The Pink Album Enter the 69 Chambers The Pink LP
