Randy De Vol’s The Graff Life Comes To DVD

Documentary filmmaker Randy De Vol‘s latest work chronicles the pinnacle of Hip Hop’s earliest and often most-overlooked element, graffiti. The Graff Life highlights “urban hieroglyphics” in Los Angeles, from 2002 to present.

The film, which runs at an hour and 47 minutes, eclipses with the famed “Metro Transit Assassins” on the Los Angeles River-bed that reportedly caused over four million dollars in damages. De Vol’s film is backed by a soundtrack composed by writers, courtesy of L.A.’s BLX Crew.

The film looks closely at the MTA Crew (Kofie, Ranz and Ghost), goes in their meetings, and follows them out on twilight missions to bomb Los Angeles, in pursuit of street and art fame.

The film and more information is available at TheGraffLife.com.
