Ferreira, who was born Rory Ferreira, began by apologizing for his delayed response, noting that his lawyers gave him the okay to release his statement.
He added: “I apologize if my immediate silence is seen as damning, but I am not willing to do anything to jeopardize the safety of my family or this case involving my daughter.”

The “LEAVING HELL” rapper explained how he has assisted Stingley by helping her move on from past relationships with violent men, and that their own relationship goes back eight years.
Ferreira added that two years ago, he allegedly paid $20,000 for a lawyer so Stingley could get custody of her son from another allegedly abusive partner, who is now in a county holding facility for stalking, domestic abuse, battery, sexual assault, and other heinous charges.

During the detailed statement, R.A.P. explained that he made arrangements for Mekah and her children to move in with his other partner in a home in Tennessee; but that he never lived at that residence. He also claimed that Stingley moved out and cut off contact with him after he had a child with the other unnamed partner.
The Ruby Yacht founder also made it clear that they were never in a monogamous relationship. He also offered context to the ongoing custody battle between himself and Chloe Stingley.

According to Ferreira, he only learned of Stingley’s claim that their one-year-old daughter was sexually abused after her attorney contacted his. On the day in question, he says his child’s mother was spotted out partying “miles away” from where she had been ordered to meet him, per their court-mandated visitation schedule.
He concluded by noting that state officials approved an emergency order, which removed the little girl from Stingley’s care, and and placing her in Ferreira’s custody.

He said: “I do not wish ill on Mekah, but her actions are the reason the court, the sheriffs department and DCS removed our child from her care. Our litigation is still pending, and I ask all concerned parties to postpone judgement until the courts do. Thank you.”
On Thursday (July 4), Stingley made the initial abuse claim in a lengthy message posted on the fundraising platform BetterWorld, asking for financial help in her legal battle with the rapper and producer.
She claimed that the indie rap veteran, who has also used the stage names Milo and Scallops Hotel, “has committed multiple acts of violence against me and all of my children.”
“Rory Ferreira physically assaulted my 7 year old at his record store, Soulfolks Records, used a deadly weapon against him and also sexually assaulted me,” she wrote. “We lived in Nashville for a few months and fled in November of 2023 because of fear of bodily harm and death.”

Stingley also accused Ferreira of stalking her in an effort to track her down and taking legal steps to remove their 16-month-old daughter from her care.
