Quavo has made an appearance in his second movie trailer in as many weeks, with the arrival of a teaser trailer for the new action film Takeover.

According to Variety, which released the first-look teaser exclusively on Thursday (September 5), the film stars Billy Zane as an international criminal mastermind. His character uses underground car meets (or street takeovers) to coordinate massive robberies across the world.

When the mastermind, Gamal Akopyan, finds himself stuck in Atlanta after a job goes left, he pulls Quavo’s character into his plot to make his way out of the city’s car scene by any means necessary. In the scene shared with Variety, Zane’s character is seen forcing the former Migos rapper to serve as his getaway driver at gunpoint.

The movie — which is being produced by Quality Films, the film and television arm of Quality Control Music — is one of the first to utilize a new type of technology by production company, Trioscope.

For this project, the company has taken a new approach to blending live action and CGI shots by using its “updated Trioscope SEE technology that elevates moving image stylization with enhanced stability, precision and multi-layer custom inputs.”

Takeover is unlike anything you’ve seen before and will blow minds,” Quavo said. “This film brings a whole new vibe that’s about to change the game, and I’m really hyped to share it with my fans.”

The first look at his latest endeavor arrived just a little over a week after it was announced that Huncho’s other recent turn as an actor, in the crime drama The Waterboyz, is set to hit theaters on September 13.

Per Fox 5 Atlanta, the movie follows two young men whose lives become intertwined as their legit hustle — selling water at intersections in the A — turns violent.

The Waterboyz also stars fellow rapper Domani Harris, LaLa Anthony and Atlanta-born actor Omar Dorsey, best known for his portrayal of Hollywood on the popular OWN series Queen Sugar.

While he seems to be shifting his attention to the silver screen, Quavo isn’t all the way out of the Rap game yet.

In fact, he has been teasing a sequel to his joint album with Travis Scott for some time now, and it looks like the project may be arriving in the near future.

Taking to his Instagram Story in July, the “Turn Your Clic Up” rapper previewed a snippet of a new song with La Flame while riding on a boat in Miami.

In a follow-up story, he simply stamped “HJ2” (presumably Huncho Jack 2) over a snap of the water.

Back in February, Quavo previewed a song at Travis Scott’s Super Bowl party in Las Vegas, though he didn’t offer any insight as to when it might come out.

When Instagram blog Our Generation Music shared a clip of the moment to their page, Quavo took to the comments section with emojis of a side-eye as well a rocket, getting fans even more excited.
