Quavo has saluted TakeOff as the fuel and inspiration for his upcoming Rocket Power album which is dedicated to his late nephew and Migos running mate.
Huncho took to Instagram on Tuesday (May 23) where he penned a heartfelt candid message to fans about his emotional state while creating this project following TakeOff’s death.

“Rocket Power The Album coming soon,” he revealed with the LP’s possible artwork. “This album is for the Rocket our true fans and also this is my therapy. This is album is a true reflection of how I feel right now.
“Sometimes I’m Good, sometimes I’m Down, sometimes I’m Disappointed, sometimes I fall apart but then I ALWAYS find my strength again.”

He continued: “I know everything might not be alright right now, but the rocket showed me a way to make it RIGHT! Rocket Power keeps me going. Rocket Power gives me fuel. Rocket Power will help us all overcome whatever we’re going through.”

Fans flooded Quavo’s comment section to send him love, while there were others who called for him to put his differences with Offset to the side and come together for this project.
“If this album for the Rocket, then Set need to be on it. Bigger than y’all,” one person wrote, while another added: “Deep talk. Long live take we down for u cho!”
Earlier this month, Quavo dedicated Rocket Power to TakeOff, who was shot and killed outside 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley in Houston on November 1 after an argument following a heated dice game. The 28-year-old’s murder has spawned a pair of arrests.
Additionally, Quavo’s Huncho Day charity football game raised $2 million for The Rocket Foundation in April as the Migos rapper presented a seven-figure check to his non-profit organization.
