Prosecutors in the YNW Melly double homicide case have released the crime scene photos to the public. The photos, first published by Treasure Coast Palm on Thursday (November 21), were used during a bail hearing to show Melly’s co-defendant Cortlen Henry should be denied bail until trial.
Melly stands accused of killing two of his friends, Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams and Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas Jr., in October 2018.
After reportedly driving around with the dead bodies in the car for hours, they came up with a plan to tell police Thomas and Williams were victims of a drive-by shooting.
During the hearing, prosecutors shared photos from the Miramar Police Department. The first image illustrates how authorities believe all four men were seated in the vehicle when the crime took place. Other photos mark bullet trajectory in the vehicle with blood clearly visible all over the car.
Investigators say ballistics tests prove the drive-by was staged. Several shots actually came from inside the vehicle. The prosecution also used cellphone tracking data to prove Melly was at the scene at the time.
Melly pleaded not guilty. But if convicted, he could face the death penalty.

That seems like an episode of too much alcohol, weed and molly popping…dues felt like extra, no they felt like gansters and started arguing and next thing bullets started flying, then reality sanked in and they drugs wore off and shooters started panicking…see youngins, that’s what happens when you try to convince yoursleves you’re a ganster, and the drugs makes the brain more convinving and you do something stupid….i had a pill popper go off on me once, i looked in his eyes and knew he was just looking for a reason to pull out his gun and shoot me, he was high on some serious drugs, now bevause of how i am and who i was, everybody were shocked i fell back and left, and to some i was scared, nah i have intuition and a good read on things, i didnt act ganster and wild out because i knew he wasnt a ganster and just under the influence, so i said nah, i’ll catch him another day…well he apologized when he was sober and knew he was wrong…but it was too late, he was convinced he was hard and “about that life” and started wilding on others even more (and popped more pills) and eventually a similar situation happened and he popped one in on a good friend of his after a heated argument while he was in the back seat and dude was in the front passenger…well he doing life with no parole now…and no molly or any hard drugs in prison so you can imagine how he feeling now….the point is, if you dont get the point then no need to point it out any further
