Prosecutors Refuse To Let Nicki Minaj’s Husband Serve Sex Offender Sentence In Calabasas Mansion

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender while cruising around Beverly Hills in March 2020. Now, prosecutors are seeking a formidable punishment for his crime, which doesn’t include holing up in Nicki’s mansion with their child.

According to TMZ, federal prosecutors don’t think six months in jail followed by supervised release is enough. They were particularly bothered any home confinement would be spent at the couple’s massive Calabasas home. The gated “affluent” community includes a pool, state-of-the-art music studio and luxurious backyard — not exactly a punishment.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office believes his marriage to one of the most famous artists in the world led him down the wrong road. Court documents explain Petty kept up with his sex offender registry paperwork for nearly two decades. But once he rekindled his relationship with Nicki in 2019 and moved to California, the “defendant adopted an affluent lifestyle.”

Nicki Minaj's Husband Reportedly Begs Judge To Let Him Surf The Internet

Federal prosecutors are seeking 15 months of prison time and five years supervised release as well as $55,000 in retribution. The judge will have final say when sentencing goes takes place on July 6.

        1. Don’t I know it. Same with Russell Simmons, meanwhile when he’s going through his boring drought, the label Def Jam is at a dead end with weak music, weak artists and weak staff members. They don’t even care about creativity. They’re political without Rush now. But this here, is a different situation. Kenny just don’t know how to take it like a man

    2. Her husband is a sex offender And she’s a dum bitch with a fake ass she brought he might molest his own kid she probably be with that with her dum ass.stupid bitch brought a ass And married to one

    3. Minaj sent bloods after anyone who threatened her reputation. Her man a sex offender might change his ways being with this piece of meat. Christ look at her flaunting has no bounds.

    5. How in the F Nicki can lay down with a rapist and then turn around and had a baby by a rapist? Poor child baby, Sick!!!

    6. Wow, didn’t the man serve his time? Let him and her alone damn. I don’t know the whole story but people deserve a second chance and a chance to prove they’re not a threat to society.

      1. He’s in trouble because he didn’t keep up with the requirement of registering as a sex offender wherever he chooses to live. He’s not in jail for his original offense, but if you don’t register as a sex offender (which is a rest of you life requirement) then you will end up back in jail for it as that is an offense of its own. Learn the law before you decide to comment on something

    7. What a bogus excuse – He didn’t stop because he got led down the wrong path, he stopped because he was suddenly living the high life and felt he was above the law. He’s living off her money probably and like most people who live in that world they think they can do what they want when they want and never deal with the repercussions.

      1. My guy, you are saying exactly what the reticle is saying. He was led down the path of affluence, aka, the wrong path.
