Prodigy has revealed the tracklist and cover art for his upcoming project The Bumpy Johnson Album, which is currently without a release date.
The LP, which follows last year’s free EP The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson Story, expands its predecessor with the addition of five tracks. For the album, P stays away from features, instead opting to go solo with production from Alchemist, S.C., Sid Roams and King Benny.

UPDATE: Prodigy’s management has informed HipHopDX that The Bumpy Johnson Album will release on October 2nd.

i have my doubts ..prodigy stepped his pen game up a little bit whilst in jail and the production might come off consistent with only two dominant producers roams and alchemist but i doubt if this is gonna be a cohesive project
for veteran rappers in prodigy s lane of hardcore street hip hip it hard to go classic… H.N.I.C was solid though but we are dealing with a different prodigy now, one that has thought a little bit too much especially in jail. i don t know if that s a good thing for a thug rapper

A cover change is a must, especially in a digital world like nowadays. I hope Prodigy didn’t pay a dime for that, because almost any random internet fan of him could make a better in 15 minutes. All he had to do is ask, and I bet he’ll get a nice one for free.

lol i must admit im disappointed. re-releasing a free ep, but now with 5 tracks? i was hoping this would be all new. i guess its ok if its not a full price album.
as for the album art… maybe he deliberately went for an amateur looking cover.. extra grimy. but personally, i could make a better cover art for this album. heck, id do it for free, just give me the credit!
